We just got back from the Worcester County 4-H Fair in Spencer, MA at Camp Marshall. It was a fun time, but we are glad to be home… it is a brief interlude until our next show which starts this Friday and lasts through until Monday. You’ll have to wait until my next post to find out where 🙂 .
I’m not certain that I posted on Bolton Fair, here’s a recap in case I did. We did fairly well there, but we actually showed up at the fair a week early! A little mishap on our calendar where we got some dates a little mixed up. Ha well, it happens to the best of us. We took a critical look at our calendar and are all sorted now. So here is a little photo gallery of that fair, see captions for a quick run through on the events….
So with that aside, let us now turn our attention on this weekend’s show, the Worcester County 4-H Fair in Spencer, MA at Camp Marshall.
It was a fun, but long weekend. Not as long as a couple of upcoming shows will be, but it was the longest for us since the Big East we attended in May 2016. Here is a link to a post covering both The Big East and Hampden County Fair.
The point about the length is that we got to sleep in our horse trailer!! 😀 We converted the tack room into a sort of cabin, well it fits a nice set of twin/full bunk beds, and this was the first time since The Big East that we got to sleep in here WITH BUNK BEDS. Last time we slept on a raised air mattress. That was interesting and decent, but the bunk beds… well… they were real nice! ❤ The only hang up is that we had no electricity and while our tack room is well equipped with an A/C we were unable to run it because of the lack of electricity. We had to tough the 1st hour at bedtime, but after a little while things cooled down to the point where we appreciated the extra blankets we had brought along.
Here is a short slide-show about this weekends fair. 🙂 Enjoy!
That’s all for now, Yah bless …
